Hi, I'm Lauren

I'm the baker behind Crumb & Chaos — a home bakery based in Cuddington, Cheshire, holding a 5* Food Hygiene Rating and fully insured and registered. Every order is made fresh, by me, with a lot of care and a little mayhem.

How ordering works

  1. Send your enquiry with as much detail as you have. Rough ideas are fine.
  2. I reply, usually within a day or two, with ideas, options and a price.
  3. Once you’re happy, I confirm your date and send a secure payment link.

What to include

  • The date you need it, and whether it’s collection or delivery (with postcode)
  • The occasion, theme or colours
  • Roughly how many people it needs to serve
  • Flavour ideas and any allergies or dietary needs
  • Inspiration photos, if you have them (email or Instagram is easiest)

Ordering & Delivery

The practical bits, so you know if I can help before you enquire.

Where do I collect from?

All collections are from my home bakery and Cake Shed at 43 Forest Road, Cuddington, near Northwich (CW8 2ED). I’ll confirm your collection time when I confirm your order.

Do you deliver, and how much does it cost?

Yes, locally, for a small fee based on distance, across Cuddington, Sandiway, Weaverham, Northwich and nearby Cheshire villages. Pop your postcode in the form and I’ll include the delivery cost in your quote.

What about wedding cakes?

Every wedding cake is delivered and set up at your venue by me. Delivery is included within 10 miles of Cuddington, then 45p per mile. How wedding booking works →

Can Christmas and seasonal pre-orders be delivered?

Christmas pre-orders are collection only, on the dates shown for each product. Seasonal pre-orders are paid online when you order.

How far ahead should I order?

As early as you can. I bake around a full-time job, so weekends fill up quickly. For weddings, get in touch as soon as you have your date and venue.

Can you cater for allergies or dietary needs?

Cake sponges can usually be adapted, for example to a gluten-free sponge, if you tell me when you enquire. Everything is made in a home kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs, so I can’t guarantee a bake is free from any allergen. Full allergen information is available on request.

How do I pay?

Seasonal pre-orders and class tickets are paid online through my SumUp shop. For made-to-order cakes and bakes, I send a secure payment link once we’ve agreed the details. At the Cake Shed you can pay by card or cash.
